What Freedom35 Studios keeps about you, why, what the games you play can and cannot see, and how to have it removed.
What we keep
- Your account: the name, email address and picture from your Google sign-in, and a handle if you choose one.
- Your saves: what each game stores, kept in your account so you can play on any device.
- Play: which games you open, when, for how long, on what kind of device and browser, how long they took to load, and errors the game reported. No IP address is stored.
- Your Play Pass: its status and billing period. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- What you send: comments, reports from inside games, reports about games, and copyright notices.
- If you publish: your studio profile, games, builds, tickets, where you want to be paid, forms you upload, and your two-step verification setup.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
What games can see
Games from other developers run on a separate site in a sealed frame. They cannot read your account, your email address, your other games' saves, or this site's cookies. A game that uses the Freedom35 SDK receives only:
- a player key that is the same for you in that game and different in every other game,
- your display name,
- its own saves, achievements, stats and leaderboard scores for you.
Developers see totals — players, playtime, load times, errors — and never who individual players are. Leaderboards show your display name. A report you send from inside a game reaches its developer without your name or email; if you were signed in, we email you when the developer marks it fixed.
Who else handles data
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores its data. Google handles sign-in. Stripe handles payments. Resend sends our emails.
How long
Account data, saves and purchases are kept while your account exists. Play records are kept to run the service and to account for Play Pass time.
Your choices
You can delete save files from a game's page and change your profile on your account page. To have your account and its data removed, email freedom35studios@gmail.com from the address you sign in with.
